Marketing automation for SMEs: the right message, at the right time, in the right language
Win-back campaigns, review requests, seasonal offers, newsletters: an AI agent targets your contacts, writes to them in their own language and schedules the sends. It checks everyone’s consent, and you approve each campaign.
- Consent checked for every contact
- Every campaign approved by a person
- French, German, Italian, English
What marketing automation does for an SME
In many SMEs, the client list sits idle: clients who haven’t been back for a year, happy clients who would leave a review if someone asked, a newsletter that goes out “when someone has time”. Nobody has time to write to them at the right moment, let alone in their own language.
Marketing automation replaces someone’s memory with rules: a win-back campaign after 12 months of inactivity, a Google review request the day after a visit, a seasonal offer, an invitation, a newsletter. Each automated email campaign follows a schedule (day 0, 3 and 7) and stops as soon as the person replies or unsubscribes.
An AI agent prepares everything: it selects the contacts, writes in each person’s language, suggests two subject lines to test and schedules the sends in your email tool. The language model can be limited to writing templates with fields to fill in: code then merges in your clients’ data, without passing it to the model.
In Switzerland, mass advertising by email or SMS requires prior consent, a correctly identified sender and a free, easy way to refuse (Unfair Competition Act, UWG/LCD art. 3 para. 1 lit. o). The agent checks this for every contact, and someone on your team approves every campaign.
The problem
Why marketing comes after everything else
A client list that sits idle
Hundreds of clients who haven’t heard from you in a year. Write to them one by one? Nobody has the time.
Reviews nobody asks for
Your happy clients would gladly leave a Google review. Someone just has to ask them at the right moment.
A newsletter that always runs late
It goes out “when someone has time”, in one language only, with no follow-up.

Try the campaign agent
Choose a goal, a segment of a fictional language school’s client list and your channels. The agent excludes contacts without consent, writes emails, an SMS and posts in each person’s language, schedules, checks, then waits for your approval.
Marketing campaign agent
Targets, writes, personalises and schedules your campaigns. You approve before the first send.

Everything runs in your browser: nothing is sent or stored. Simplified demo: answers are prepared in advance or computed by simple rules in your browser. In production, a language model suited to your data does this work, and someone on your team signs off.
I want this for my businessWhat’s happening, step by step
-
The right audience Code
Code filters your list for the goal, then removes everyone who hasn’t given consent or has unsubscribed. No AI here: clear rules.
-
The AI writes AI
A language model writes the sequence (3 emails, an SMS, posts) in each contact’s language, with two subject lines to test.
-
Every message becomes personal Code
Code fills in the first name, the course, the date… and adds the sender and the unsubscribe link. The AI never sees a contact.
-
Everything is scheduled Tool
Your email tool schedules the sends on day 0, 3 and 7, and stops the sequence as soon as someone replies or unsubscribes.
-
The rules are checked Code
Consent, sender, unsubscribe, SMS length, banned phrases: everything is checked, and fixed where needed.
-
You approve Human
Nothing goes out without your say-so. After that, the campaign runs on its own and you get the results.
Run the demo: each step lights up here.

Words to know
- Segment
- A group of contacts picked by a rule: no course in 12 months, course ended this week…
- Consent
- A person’s agreement to receive your advertising. In Switzerland it is required for mass advertising by email or SMS, with a narrow exception for existing clients.
- A/B test
- Two email subject lines, each sent to half the recipients, to measure which one gets more clicks.
- Merge field
- A placeholder such as {{first_name}} that code replaces with each contact’s data.
Why it’s safe
- Nothing goes out without your OK: a person approves the campaign before the first send.
- Consent, unsubscribe and sender are checked by code before every send.
- Contacts without consent are excluded automatically.
- You choose where the AI and your data run.
The agent’s pipeline
- Input Client list Your CRM, your email tool or a spreadsheet: language, history, consent per channel.
- Code Segmentation Rules on your data (dates, courses, canton) and a consent filter, do-not-contact list included.
- AI Writing Templates per language with merge fields, in your tone. Schema-validated JSON output.
- Code Merge and checks Merge fields, legal footer, SMS encoding (GSM-7), wording rules.
- Tool Scheduling Your email and publishing tools: sends on day 0, 3 and 7, automatic stops.
- Human Approval A person approves the campaign before the first send.
- Output Measurement Clicks, replies, sign-ups, unsubscribes: a report after every campaign.
AI reads and writes. Code checks. Humans decide.

Guardrails
- Consent per channel: contacts without consent or who unsubscribed are excluded before anything is written, do-not-contact list included.
- Minimal data: the model writes templates with fields; contact data is merged in by code.
- Mandatory footer: full sender details and an unsubscribe link in every email, “STOP” in every SMS.
- Wording rules: artificial urgency and unverifiable superlatives are flagged and fixed before approval.
- Human approval: no campaign starts without a person’s go-ahead, and you can stop it at any time.

After 12 months without a purchase or visit, or whatever delay you choose: a short personalised sequence with a real reason to come back.
Google review requests
After a visit or a purchase, an email or SMS with a direct link to your profile. The same request for everyone, with nothing offered in return.
Seasonal offers and invitations
Back to school, the holidays, an open day: the campaign is ready in advance, reminders and sign-up tracking included.
Welcome sequences
Two or three useful messages in a new client’s first weeks: how things work, who to contact.
Newsletter and social media
A newsletter drawn from your news, adapted for LinkedIn, Instagram and your Google profile. See also multilingual content.
Segments, A/B tests, reports
Segments by language, history or interest, two subject lines tested per campaign, a report after every send.

Legal framework
Consent, sender, unsubscribe: the Swiss rule
Without consent, mass advertising is only allowed to existing clients (Unfair Competition Act, UWG/LCD art. 3 para. 1 lit. o): for your own similar products or services, and only if they were told they could refuse when their contact details were collected. Swiss data protection law (FADP) applies too.
Consent checked, channel by channel
Email, SMS, do-not-contact list: every contact is checked before anything is written. Without a valid basis, they are left out.
Clear sender, easy unsubscribe
Full contact details and an unsubscribe link in every email, “STOP” in every SMS. Added by code, so they can’t be forgotten.
Built with Swiss data protection (FADP) in mind
A data processing agreement, only the data the task needs, Swiss hosting available.
Frequently asked questions
Am I allowed to send marketing emails to my clients in Switzerland?
Yes, with their consent, or if they are existing clients who were told, when their contact details were collected, that they could refuse such messages; in that case, only for your own similar products or services. Every message must identify the sender and explain how to refuse, free of charge and easily (UWG/LCD art. 3 para. 1 lit. o). This page is not legal advice.
Do the campaigns go out automatically?
Once approved, yes: the sequence follows its schedule and stops on its own for anyone who replies, books or unsubscribes. No campaign starts without a person’s approval, and you can stop it at any time.
Which email tool does it work with?
The one you already use. We connect your tools (email tool, CRM, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) through their API, an export or email. Without one, a contact file is enough to start.
Can you automate Google review requests?
Yes: an email or SMS goes out after the visit or purchase, with a direct link to your profile. The same request goes to every client concerned, with nothing in return: Google forbids buying reviews or asking only happy clients. And we never write reviews on their behalf.
How do you measure results?
With a report after each campaign: clicks, replies, sign-ups, unsubscribes. Opens stay indicative, because some email apps load images automatically. We don’t promise figures in advance: we measure, then adjust.
How much does it cost?
It’s on quote, after a free audit. The price depends on the number of campaigns, the channels and the tools to connect. Request a quote.
